Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:* Operates controls for lifting dumpsters and containers and emptying them into the truck, compacts and unloads waste from truck. Performs preventive maintenance check including but not limited to checking lights and fluid levels, washes truck, and refills fuel tank. Supports driver in safety measures which includes backing and watching for hazards Supports the relationship between the City of Roswell and the public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and City staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and City information; performs other duties as required or assigned. - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** Education, Training, and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent AND six months' experience working in sanitation or a recycling plant; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Knowledge Of City and Department policies and procedures.
