What This Job DoesThis person tests trading and hedging systems to make sure trades are processed correctly, follow regulations, and don’t break when systems talk to each other. They work mostly on their own and help decide if systems are ready to go live.Tools & Tech They Use- ION – a trading platform used to manage and validate trades - Playwright / Selenium – tools that automate testing instead of clicking manually - APIs & Databases – checking data behind the scenes - SQL – writing queries to validate trade data - Snowflake – cloud data storage used for reporting/testing - Azure DevOps – tracking tests, bugs, and releases - AI testing tools – helping speed up or improve testing coverage
