About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Low Voltage Electrician to support projects in the Tampa area. This role focuses on low-voltage electrical and Building Automation System (BAS) work across a variety of commercial environments, including pharmaceutical facilities, K–12 and higher education campuses, healthcare facilities, stadiums, and office spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Run commercial conduit (¾” pipe), including offsets and 3-point saddles
- Pull low-voltage wiring and install wire housings and ductwork
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage electrical systems
- Perform work related to motor controls, figure transformers, fire alarm systems, and access control systems
- Support building automation and controls systems, working from a controls standpoint
- Install school plugs and support electrical needs in educational environments
- Assist with projects in stadiums, airports, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and commercial office spaces
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Coordinate closely with BAS technicians and controls teams
- Perform light carpentry as needed to support installations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and airport/TSA requirements
This role is strictly low-voltage — no high-voltage work required.
Required Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of commercial electrician experience
- Hands-on experience running conduit and pulling wire
- Solid low-voltage background (controls, BAS, fire alarm, access controls)
- Ability to work patiently and effectively with bilingual teams
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Preferred Qualifications- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
