Landfill Gas Operator - Atlanta, Georgia Piper Maddox is partnering with a growing RNG company focused on landfill gas-to-energy infrastructure and environmental compliance across its operating facilities. This is an opportunity to join a hands-on operation supporting renewable power generation, landfill gas utilization, and critical energy infrastructure within a field-based environment. Key Responsibilities:○ Operate and maintain landfill gas-fueled power generation equipment including reciprocating engines, blowers, compressors, flares, cooling systems, gas treatment equipment, and auxiliary systems○ Monitor plant performance through instrumentation, SCADA, and process control systems to maximize power generation and equipment reliability○ Perform daily inspections, operational rounds, logging, and reporting of key plant operating data and equipment conditions○ Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on engines, generators, pumps, valves, blowers, chillers, and related mechanical and electrical equipment○ Support landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS) activities including gas quality monitoring, wellfield balancing, flare operations, and troubleshooting gas collection issues○ Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, inspections, and operational records within CMMS and reporting systems○ Support environmental compliance activities including emissions monitoring systems, SPCC inspections, chemical inventory management, and air permit support○ Maintain spare parts inventory and support overall site housekeeping and operational readiness○ Support on-call operations coverage and emergency response activities on a rotating basis Qualifications and Background:○ 2+ years of experience within landfill gas, power generation, RNG, utilities, heavy industrial operations, or similar process environments○ Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting gas or diesel reciprocating engines and related auxiliary equipment○ Strong mecha
