Job Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
- Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
- Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
- Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items.
- Make beds and fold terry.
- Clean bathrooms in line with hotel standards, using the correct chemicals and adhering to the safety protocols established within the department.
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
- Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
- Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties (e.g., in guest rooms and hallway).
- Responsible for cleaning all assigned rooms efficiently, ensuring each room is thoroughly cleaned within a 27-minute timeframe.
- Promptly respond to all room service requests within an 8-minute timeframe, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and efficiency. For full-service requests, response time should not exceed 15 minutes.
