Help Desk Support Specialist St. Louis, MOOnsite Role ABOUT THE ROLEBrooksource is seeking Help Desk Support Specialists to assist with a large‑scale merger initiative across our St. Louis and Charlotte offices. In this onsite role, you will support end users during the merger onboarding process by helping them claim accounts, set up passwords, register VIP tokens, and resolve basic access issues. This is a high‑volume, customer‑facing support position ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, reliability, and an interest in IT. The project runs from May 11 through September 4, offering hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment with consistent training and structured workflows.WHAT YOU'LL DO- Assist users with account claiming and initial login steps - Support password setup and basic authentication troubleshooting - Register VIP tokens and guide users through verification processes - Answer common user questions related to merger onboarding - Provide clear, friendly, and professional customer service - Document interactions and follow established support procedures - Participate in approximately two weeks of structured training - Potentially support additional tasks if ticket volume increases WHAT YOU BRING- Strong customer service background (retail, food service, call center, etc.) - Professional communication skills and a positive, helpful personality - Dependability, punctuality, and ability to follow a consistent schedule - Basic computer literacy and comfort navigating simple technical steps - Interest in IT or prior exposure through classes, training, or self‑learning WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU- Opportunity to gain hands‑on IT support experience in an enterprise environment - Structured training program to build foundational technical skills - Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend work - Consistent 9‑hour shift options (including lunch): - 7 AM – 4 PM - 8 AM – 5 PM - 9 AM – 6 PM - Exposure to enterprise support processes and ticketing systems
