What We Need Mohawk is looking for a Front-End Loader Driver which will be responsible for operating 550 loaders and conveyers for chip transportation. What You’ll Do - Complete walk around inspections of rolling stock - Monitors chip unloading conveyors and ensures chips are going to correct locations - Visually monitors the quality of chips - Operates loader and monitors that it is running correctly and efficiently - Performs basic maintenance tasks - Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision - Follow all established standard operating procedures - Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary - Perform other tasks assigned by management What You Have - Minimum 1-2 years operating heavy equipment (preferably loaders). - Fork lift / Front End Loader certified or ability to pass skills assessment. - Understanding of load limits, machine controls, and site safety procedures. - Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, not required. What You’re Good At - Effective communication skills. - Strong active listening and comprehension skills. - Managing multiple priorities with ease and staying focused under pressure. - Ability to analyze and interpret data. - Adapting quickly to change with a flexible, team-oriented mindset. - Exercising sound judgment and professionalism, even without formal guidelines.
