Dump Truck Driver - Class B CDL

Share Share Email Post Share The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for completing construction site work, and hauling aggregate, paving, and milling materials. The Driver must be self-motivated, dedicated to workplace safety, and focused on providing courteous, prompt, and professional customer service. The Driver operates the vehicle in accordance with federal and state safety standards. Responsibilities - Drives truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill maneuvering the vehicle in all situations. - Performs pre and post trip inspections. - Communicates with dispatcher daily regarding assignments. - Completes daily paperwork in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies. - Performs all work in adherence to company safety policies. - Ensures the interior of the vehicle is kept clean. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Training requirements, both in person and online, as needed or required. Requirements - Two years or more years of experience - Driving Class B CDL at minimum. - No serious traffic violations in the last three years. - Must be registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse. - Must have a current DOT Medical Card. - Passing a pre-employment drug screen is required. - Responsible for own transportation to job site. Physical Requirements - Must have physical strength, balance, hand eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. - Must be able to stand, walk, and climb inclines for the duration of the shift. - Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. - Ability to work outdoors in all weather. - Sit for long periods of time. - Safely bend over to visually inspect under the truck/trailer. - Safely climb the steps into the cab and out of the cab. - Safely enter the trailer via the man door in the front or a ladder over the side. - Lift the hoses to attach truck and trailer. - Lift the hood and close the hood. - Shovel the built up rock or snow in
