Primary Functions The driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. A reliable driver needs to transport items in a safe, timely manner, in conjunction with the customer satisfaction. Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Loading, transporting, delivering and unloading items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner - Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied - Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles - Collecting payments for delivered items as needed - Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients - Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules - Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record - Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries - Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc. - Any other related duties as assigned by the management Skills And Qualifications - A good history of DMV/MVR record - Possess a valid driver's license appropriate for the class of vehicle - Experienced driving in winter and mountain environments, including snowy conditions - Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws - Strong time management and customer service skills - Attention to detail - Able to use forklift or pallet jack to move the pallets and/or products - Successfully pass background checks including criminal history and drug screening Physica
