Dishwasher Location: Manhattan, New York Reporting to: Maintenance Engineer We love what we do – and it shows! Dishwasher Responsibilities - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand. - Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. - Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas. - Sweep or scrub floors. Clean ceilings and walls and overall sanitation duties - Operates equipment in an efficient and safe manner. - Maintain the restaurant with regards to cleanliness, neatness and customer accessibility. - Complete other general cleaning duties such as emptying trash cans and cleaning dining area - Other duties as assigned by management Skills And Requirements - Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant and face paced events environment a plus - Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays - Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules - Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays, push heavy carts and stand for long hours - Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment - Ability to be cross trained in all areas of the cleaning department - Ability to speak, read, and understand English What We Look For In a Candidate Time Out is a company filled with individuals as diverse as the cities we live in and cover.
