Job Summary The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role supports overall kitchen operations and ensures compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Requirements Key Responsibilities: - Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware. - Ensure cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, surfaces, floors, and trash areas. - Properly dispose of garbage and recycling throughout the shift. - Organize and store clean dishes and utensils appropriately. - Maintain a safe and organized dishwashing station. - Refill cleaning supplies and notify supervisors of low inventory or equipment issues. - Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by The Golden Hog policies. - Assist kitchen staff with basic prep or stocking tasks as requested. - Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned. - Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment. Qualifications - Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. - Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. - Dependable, punctual, and able to follow verbal and written instructions. - Positive attitude and strong team player. - Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Schedule Your standard work schedule will be five days per week, with two days off scheduled based on operational needs.
