Airport Landscape Equipment Operator

Major Functions NOTE: THIS IS A CONTRACTED POSITION, LOCATED AT THE DAYTONA BEACH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THE SELECTED CANDIDATE(S) WILL BE EMPLOYED THROUGH A THIRD PARTY VENDOR AND INELIGIBLE FOR COUNTY OFFERED BENEFITS. Major Functions The Airport Landscape Equipment Operator is responsible for transporting and operating a wide range of landscaping equipment to perform a variety of semiskilled and skilled landscaping and turf maintenance duties in the development, maintenance and repair of landscaped areas around the airport. Must be able to perform tasks of Airport Landscape Maintenance Worker. NOTE: Position requires the ability to work nights, Note: Working hours: 6:00 am to 1:00 pm, 32 to 40 hours per week. Pre-Employment Requirements Selected candidates will need to complete an application for employment, Airport ID application, submit fingerprints and driver's license for a full Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and driver's license validation.
